The Messaging division allows customers easy access to CIS's store-and-forward messaging technologies. Currently: GSM SMS and Internet email.

CIS provides these services cost effectively by allowing setup and overhead costs to be shared, and adds value by managing and monitoing the services - in addition to providing an easy interface to the customer's existing applications.

For customers who would prefer to have their own gateways, CIS can configure and install a GSM SMS and/or Internet email gateway on the client's premisis. (please contact us for a quotation)

In addition to offering bulk SMS, CIS offers an interactive SMS service. Interactive SMS allows a mobile originating (MO) SMS to - using a keyword(s) - request information from a central source which is returned in a mobile terminating (MT) SMS. No human intervention is necessary! The central source can be located either on CIS's equipment, or at the customer's premises, running independantly of CIS's resources.
